finished the pantry. i thought i was so neat, i kept my workout clothes on instead of changing into junkie stuff. oh, well, those exercise capris were getting old, anyway...
can't really tell the new color of the pantry (cream custard, a light, bright yellow) in the picture. but now it looks like the light is on even when it's not. i guess that's comparatively speaking, comparing with the old dingy wallpaper.

no, actually the kitchen appliances are still intact. the demolition is on monday, june 15. everything is moved out into the garage, the living room, and bonus room upstairs. ron set up a double burner (propane, used to camping) out in the garage. this weekend the microwave, toaster oven, and fridge go out to the garage; ron has tables/benches set up for it all. sigh... no eating out...
ReplyDeleteWow, that pantry is huge when it's empty!! What fun it will be to refill it again. I say splurge and throw out all the old spices and buy yourselves some new ones for the new kitchen! :)
