yet another crew of workers put in most of the floor today. they have about 2 foot strip left in the "big room" (kitchen/family room). have yet to do the dining room, and yes, we mustn't forget, the most important pantry!!!
they will be coming back tomorrow to finish up. then we wait for the counter tops to be done (another 9 working days?), before putting the remaining appliances in. i think there's some misunderstanding between the main crew and the floor crew about who's putting the baseboards in. all i know is that I'm not doing it!!!
I know I've said this before, but I've GOT to say it again ... WOW WOW WOW! It looks so different without the carpeting in the family room and I love the wood in the kitchen. Cardinal Construction totally rocks, and unless I hear otherwise from you, I'll definitely be giving people their name when asked if I know any good contractors! When can we come over in our socks and slide all over the floor???
ReplyDeletesure, come over anytime! your socks will be so dusty after even one trip across the floor, though. they haven't really cleaned up yet!

ReplyDeleteIt's been ~one week since I checked this site. I too say "WOW!" Your new kitchen and family area is shaping up very nicely. Are you on or ahead of schedule? I definitely plan to visit Cardinal Construction when we return from vacation.
